This week, the students began presenting their fitness projects ("Create-An-Activity/Exercise") in class. Also, in Health, students are completing the unit on Communicable Diseases (Influenza, Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, Mononucleosis, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, Strep Throat).

"Create-An-Activity/Exercise" Fitness Project.
The project must include:
*Evidence of all 4 components of fitness and be able to explain how activity relates to the components of fitness and why is it important to participate in this activity. (Components: Endurance/Cardio, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, and Flexibility)
*20-minute length (Target Heart Rate 60%-80% intensity), 5-min. Warm-up, 5-min. Cool-down, Modifications, Tips for Safety, Objective/Benefits for participating in this activitiy
*Determine whether aerobic or anaerobic
*Creative Name of activity

Written portion (Neatly) due: THURSDAY, MARCH 17TH. Presentations of project to the entire class begins week of March 21st!!!
